When an emergency strikes, you pet needs the best veterinary care as fast as possible.
If you experience a veterinary emergency during our normal business hours, please call us immediately at 207-942-2281. We will adapt our schedule to meet your critical needs. The sooner you can give us a ring, the better able we will be to ensure you will be met with rapid treatment upon arrival. Even if you must call as you load your pet into the car, that will still give us a few minutes to prepare.
We do not run a 24-hour facility. If you experience an emergency after our regular business hours, please contact the following local emergency hospital:
Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care
739 Warren Avenue
Portland, ME 04103
207-878-3121
Once your pet has been treated by our friends at the local emergency hospital, and no longer requires 24-hour monitoring, they can be transferred to us to finish their treatment and recovery plan.
