Michael A. Albert

DVM

Dr. Michael Albert graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pathobiology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Albert attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Sciences and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1989.

Dr. Albert is a generalist in canine and feline medicine with special interests in cardiology, surgery, and clinical pathology. He has worked in the veterinary field for over 30 years and still finds happiness and fulfillment in seeing pets and their caretakers at Broadway Veterinary Clinic each day. He also volunteers his time with the Bangor Humane Society.

Dr. Albert has roots in Northern Aroostook County. He is a lover of the wide-open spaces and outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, shooting, canoeing, and hunting. Dr. Albert also enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and their German Shepherd named Nyx and Labrador Retriever named Sam.

Jennifer Freese

DVM

Jennifer Freese obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Campbellsville University in 2002. She graduated from Auburn University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006.

Originally from Northern Kentucky, Dr. Freese moved to Maine after veterinary school where she has practiced outstanding clinical care ever since. Dr. Freese has professional interests in surgery and endocrinology.

A few of her favorite things include gluten and dairy-free desserts, the movie The Greatest Showman, and the Labrador breed. Her first pet was a dog named Pebbles, and she now has a Labrador as a forever friend named Koda. In her free time, Dr. Freese enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons more than anything else.

Thomas Diffell

DVM

Dr. Thomas Diffell is an Associate Veterinarian at Broadway Veterinary Clinic. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1972, and his primary area of professional interest is internal medicine. In the fourth grade, Dr. Diffell read “Animal Doctor” which inspired him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Diffell has worked at numerous AAHA-accredited hospitals, and says the best part about working in the veterinary field is providing care for all of his dog and cat clients. 
 
Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Diffell currently lives in Corinth, Maine with his spouse of 46 years, and Amos, a Giant Shnauzer, Annie, a Border Terrier, Q, a Warmblood horse, Jubilee, a Standardbred horse, and four parakeets. In his spare time, Dr. Difell enjoys hanging out with his two children and five grandkids, gardening, maintaining the farm, and volunteering at his church. A fun fact about Dr. Diffell is that he is a good storyteller!

Victoria Pendleton

DVM

Dr. Victoria Pendleton is a Veterinarian at Broadway Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Pendleton earned her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Maine in 2016 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Atlantic Veterinary College in 2020. Dr. Pendleton’s areas of professional interest include acupuncture, chiropractics, and theriogenology.

Having always been interested in animals since she was young, Dr. Pendleton knew she wanted to become a veterinarian when she was in middle school. Her favorite part about working in the veterinary field is being able to help and make a difference for both pets and their owners. Born and raised in Maine, Dr. Pendleton still lives in-state with her beloved two dogs and four cats. In her free time, Dr. Pendleton loves to hang out with her family and pets, work in the garden, draw and paint, and do carpentry work.

Jennifer Garmon

DVM

Dr. Jennifer Garmon graduated from University of Wyoming with her bachelors in Anthropology in 2015. Following her bachelors, she earned her Master's in Business in 2018 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, both from Colorado State University.

Dr. Garmon's interests range from orthopedics, physical rehabilitation to emergency medicine to large animal medicine.

She has spent the last year and a half working in a fast paced, diverse clinic in Tennessee. During her time there, she worked on animals ranging from horses, goats, leopard geckos, hamsters, rats to even a flying squirrel. Her and her husband are excited to be living where there is snow again.

Dr. Garmon has two dogs, two cats, a rabbit and a horse. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, running, riding, and exploring the outdoors.
